Earrings.

So my last post was a hit. 7 comments/suggestions - terrific. I agree - I think I am going to attempt hairstyle #1. So now onto earrings. I saw this jeweler in one of my wedding magazines. Kendra Scott makes some awesome jewels. She will even let the customer choose the color of their choice in a few of her designs! So in order for me to wear something 'blue' on my wedding day - I am going with light blue quartz earrings.

I have chosen the following designs. I am pretty sure I will only wear a pair of earrings – I do not need a necklace. So which pair is your favorite? And which would look good with hairstyle #1?

Count down to the wedding is about 90 days. That means all of the small details (hair, shoes, makeup, earrings, etc) that I have put off over the past several months - need a final decision. I am planning on doing a practice round of hair dos. Here are a few that I found online that I 'think' will work with my hair.

3 of my best gal pals threw me a fabulous bridal shower on sunday. talk about making a girl feel extremely special. i was blown away with their beautiful decorations, delicious food, creative games and organization/planning. it was absolutely fantastic. plus all of my other favorite gal pals were able to join in on the fun. here are some pictures from the day. i am very much a newbie to picasa....but i managed to figure out how to make this collage and get it posted on here.... i have a lot to learn.

this past saturday we celebrated Ashley - my friend that is getting married in may. it was her 'last' night as a single lady!! boy did we have a good time celebrating her becoming a MRS!!!!  we started off the evening with a dinner at cafe trio on the plaza. it was my first time there- and it was pretty great! after cafe trio we headed back to the roos casa for a lingerie party, chocolate fondue for dessert and some fun bachelorette games! what a fun night celebrating a truly great friend. here are some pics from the evening!!!

A Case of the Crazies

We have had some great weather recently here in KC which I think gives Hurley and Harper a case of the 'crazies'. They know it is nice outside and will sit and stare at us until we give in and take them on a walk. It is like they know it is nice outside and are just waiting to hear those words "do you want to go on a walk". They absolutely go nuts when we say that phrase. We can tell they are a bit out of shape as they come home and are pooped.
